The series of highly successful EUROSENSORS conferences began in 1987 in Cambridge as the European forum to cover the entire field of sensors, actuators, and micro- and nanosystems. Ever since, it has been the leading European conference devoted to the advancement of state-of-the-art technologies in the aforementioned fields, providing an excellent opportunity to bring together scientists, engineers, and students from academia, national and international research institutes, and companies to present and discuss their latest results in the fields of sensors and microsystems.
The EUROSENSORS XXXVII conference was organized in Wrocław, Poland. The lectures and poster presentations covered innovative ideas, novel scientific and technical advancements, and emerging technologies and applications in the field, and covered the following topics:
- theory, modelling, design, and testing;
- smart systems and artificial intelligence in sensing;
- advanced materials and technologies;
- physical sensors and actuators;
- chemical sensors;
- biochemical sensors, microfluidics, and lab-on-a-chip and organ-on-chip systems;
- photonics and optical microsystems;
- wireless sensor networks and communication;
- system integration, powering, and energy harvesting.
After the peer-review process, the international program committee accepted 285 abstracts for publication from 33 countries. These authors are asked to submit their full-length paper to the Journal of Sensors and Sensor Systems (JSSS). Following the peer-review process, the papers will be published in an EUROSENSORS 2025 Special Issue of JSSS.
